A night in Moshi before the climb and after it. On the mountain itself every route sleeps in the park's public huts or campsites; they are listed below the two hotels.

Kilimanjaro National Park runs the huts and campsites on every route; no route has a private lodge. Marangu sleeps in huts, the other routes in our tents at the public campsites, in this order.
