Payment Policy

Booking Confirmation

A reservation is confirmed once the required deposit has been received and a written confirmation has been issued by Places of Africa Safaris.

Availability of accommodations, flights, and other services cannot be guaranteed until payment has been completed.

Deposit Requirements

To secure your booking, a deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required.

For bookings that include domestic flights, hot air balloon safaris, luxury lodges, or other third-party services requiring immediate payment, a higher deposit may be requested.

Final Payment

The remaining balance must be paid 30 days before the arrival date.

Reservations made within 30 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.

Failure to complete payment within the specified period may result in the cancellation of the reservation.

Accepted Payment Methods

We currently accept the following payment methods:

• Bank transfers
• Credit cards
• Debit cards
• International wire transfers

All bank transfer fees, intermediary bank charges, and currency conversion fees are the responsibility of the client.

Currency

All prices are quoted in United States dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.

Payments made in other currencies will be converted according to the exchange rate applicable at the time of the transaction.

Credit Card Payments

Credit card payments may be subject to additional processing charges imposed by payment service providers.

Clients may be required to provide identification documents to verify ownership of the payment card.

Last-Minute Bookings

Bookings made within seven days of arrival must be paid in full before services commence.

Refunds

Refunds are subject to the terms and conditions outlined in our cancellation policy.

Any costs incurred from bank transfers, transaction fees, or currency exchange differences are non-refundable.

Government Taxes and Fees

Park fees, government taxes, concession fees, and tourism levies are subject to change without prior notice. Should any changes occur after the reservation has been confirmed, additional charges may apply.
