Every night after the eighth costs less

Stay eight nights or more and every night from the eighth onward carries 10% off our charges.

This is not generosity, it is arithmetic. A meaningful part of a safari's cost is fixed at the start — airport transfers, the Arusha briefing night, the internal flights in and out, the vehicle mobilisation. Spread across fourteen nights instead of six, those cost far less per day, and the price should show it.

Why long trips are better value

The second week is the cheap one

Most guests build a safari around the leave they can take and then discover that the last two days were the best ones. By then the pace has slowed, the guide knows what you want, and you have stopped photographing every impala.

Extending is also the cheapest way to add a genuinely different landscape. Adding Ruaha or Nyerere to a northern-circuit trip costs far less than flying back for a second safari, and gives you the southern parks at a fraction of the northern circuit's vehicle density.

The other common extension is the coast. A direct flight from a Serengeti airstrip to Zanzibar means the second week needs no backtracking at all.

Terms & conditions

  1. The discount applies from the qualifying night onward, not to the whole stay.
  2. Nights must be consecutive and on one continuous itinerary. Two separate trips do not combine.
  3. Park and conservation fees are charged per day at the full rate for every night, including discounted ones.
  4. Beach and island nights count toward the total when they are part of the same booked itinerary.
  5. Offers apply to new bookings only and cannot be applied retrospectively.
  6. One offer per booking. Offers cannot be combined with each other unless we say so in writing.
  7. Subject to availability at the time of booking. An offer does not hold a camp or a seat — a deposit does.
  8. Park and conservation fees are set by TANAPA and the NCAA and are never discounted. Any saving applies to our own charges.
  9. We reserve the right to withdraw an offer at any time. A booking already confirmed keeps the terms it was confirmed on.
